Erosion cup I

$70.00

Handcrafted from speckled stoneware clay and fired to Cone 6, this cup is wheel-thrown and shaped by hand. The handle is individually hand-sculpted, inspired by the organic forms and textures created through erosion, bringing a sculptural element to the functional form.

Finished with a commercial glaze, each cup celebrates the irregular textures and imperfect forms found in nature. Subtle variations in shape, texture, and glaze are inherent to the handmade process and make each piece unique.

As with any handcrafted ceramic art piece, minor imperfections and variations are to be expected. These may include, but are not limited to, tiny surface cracks that do not affect functionality, uneven surfaces, variations in shape, and other natural irregularities resulting from the making and firing process.

Capacity: 16 oz. | Hand wash recommended
